Jackson Saleh was turning out for Western Stima for the past six months but has now joined Nakumatt on short term deal

Former Gor Mahia and Western Stima defender Jackson Saleh has completed his move to Nakumatt FC.

Saleh was featuring for relegation threatened Western Stima for the past six months, but was among the nine players released by the Kisumu-based side this month. Nakumatt manager Ben Achieng has confirmed to Goal that the defender has sealed a short term contract with the club.

"Saleh is our player now, he has signed a six month contract with an option of extending it if he impresses.

"He is an experienced player who has turned out for several top clubs, and we feel his addition to the team will have a positive impact especially after the break. We are not close to signing anyone else but once we do the same we will definitely reveal it."

The Shoppers are in the seventh position of the 18-team table after collecting 19 points.
