KPL transfers: Bandari rope in Mathare United youngster

The 22 year-old striker has revealed that he has completed the switch from the 'Slum Boys' to the Coastal-based side

Bandari FC has roped in Mathare United teenage sensation Moses Kinyanjui Gitau during June transfer window.

The 22 year-old striker confirmed he has signed a three year contract with the dockers. Kinyajui, who previously featured for FKF Division Two Club Shanzu United, was signed by Mathare United last year after being spotted during the Betway Talent Search competition in which he emerged the winner alongside goalkeeper Mark Kioko Ndhiwa.

The Betway Talent Search competition involved 1,600 aspiring footballers across the country training and showcasing their skills under watchful eyes of both local and international coaches at Goan Institute in Nairobi.

The duo subsequently earned a trip to United Kingdom and enjoyed an opportunity to showcase their skills  with English Premier League side West Ham United first team as well as enjoy home game against Chelsea and watch away game against AFC Bournemouth.
