Club chairman Dan Mule is happy with the arrival of Alexis Kitenge and he is optimistic that the team will now deliver

AFC Leopards new striker Alexis Kitenge has finally arrived in the country. 

The Burundian landed on Friday, a day late than initially scheduled. Nevertheless, the Burundian says he is happy to have joined the twelve times league champions and his target is to help the team perform.

"I am happy to have joined the club (AFC Leopards), and as I had said earlier my main aim will be to help the team perform better in the league and other competitions. It is a big club and I want to be part of it," Kitenge told Goal.

Club chairman Dan Mule is happy with the development and he is optimistic the striker will deliver. "He is a proven talent with experience, and his arrival is a boost to us. We want to take the team to the top and with players like him, we will manage."

Ingwe will take on Kariobangi Sharks in a Kenyan Premier League match on Saturday.
