Ulinzi Stars midfielder Stephen Ochola is set to hang boots at the end of the season.

The skipper has not been involved in the league this season after making an appearance in continental assignment. Coach Benjamin Nyangweso has revealed to Goal the reason behind that move. "After our continental games, he (Ocholla) approached me and said he cannot cope with the pace.

"But he has been training with us the whole time despite the fact that he has not featured. He has considered calling it a day probably at the end of the season. He is one good player and I thought he will be available for me because his experience is vital at this point."

Ulinzi Stars confirmed the team will have six new faces after the break. The six are George Katama Mukangi, former Sony Sugar goalkeeper Timothy Odhiambo, ex-Bandari man Omar Boraafya, former AFC Leopards man Bernard Ongoma, Ibrahim Shambi and Mark Bikokwa.
