The Brewers started the season on a low tone but have made strides to position four on the log so far

Tusker head Coach George Nsimbe is a happy man after his side recorded a nine-match unbeaten run on Sunday with Sony Sugar win.

The 2-1 victory saw them register five straight wins in a row and the coach attributes the good performance to ‘fighting spirit’.

He explains how it looked hard to win after traveling from Kericho Green Stadium where they overcame Zoo Kericho and meet another opponent in a short span of time.

"It was not an easy match. We came all the way from Kericho and trained twice for the match and managed to collect maximum points. The fighting spirit shows that we are competing and not just participating in the league," he was quoted as saying on the club’s facebook page.

They are now placed at position four on the league table from 11 matches. They will play against Mathare United in their next match.
