Kotoko will be ready before season starts, says Opare

The midfielder believes the Porcupine Warriors would be in brilliant form in the new season

Asante Kotoko midfielder Seth Opare has advised the club's supporters to be calm following the club’s slow start in the pre-season.

The FA Cup champions were defeated by Dreams FC 1-0 in the Ghalca G8 tournament.

Steve Polack's charges have managed to score only one goal in two matches and need a huge win over Aduana Stars on Sunday to stand a chance of qualifying from Group A to the semi-finals.

However, Opare has charged the supporters to rally behind them in the remainder of pre-season.

Goal understands that Kotoko will likely sign free agent Frederick Boateng as a back-up to Sadick Adams, Obed Owusu and Yakubu Mohammed.
