The 29-year-old scored the consolation goal for the Royal Blues who suffered their eighth defeat in the Danish top-flight this season

Kim Ojo was on target for Lyngby in their 2-1 loss to Aalborg in Saturday’s Danish Superliga encounter.

The Nigerian forward found the back of the net late in the game to increase his tally to three goals in nine league games this season.

First-half goals from Janik Pohl and Pedersen put Morten Wieghorst’s men ahead in the Lyngby Stadion.

Immediately after the restart, Ojo replaced Oliver Lund for his fifth appearance off the bench this campaign.

And the former Genk striker registered a goal in the 89th minute to match his record of three goals in 16 league appearances for the Royal Blues last term.

The goal could not save the Lyngby Stadion outfit from avoiding their third straight defeat as they continued their winless run in the league since October 16.

Thomas Norgaard’s men will be hoping to bounce back from their poor run of results when they visit FC Helsingor for their next league outing.

Lyngby are placed 10th with 18 points from 18 games in the Danish top-flight this campaign.
