Kenyan referees attending Fifa course in Nakuru

The field practical sessions are being held at the Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology (RVIST) grounds

The 2017 Fifa MA course jointly organized by Football Kenya Federation and Fifa kicked-off in Nakuru on Monday.

35 match officials drawn from the top tier league are set to undergo the five days course. The annual course, is not only aimed at sharpening the officials skills in handling matches but also acts as a refresher course as it envisions to keep the match officials abreast with the numerous amendments that have in recent past been made to the laws of the game.

The field practical sessions are being held at the Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology (RVIST) grounds, while the theory sessions are at Citymax Hotel, Nakuru.  

Fifa instructors Tracey Lovell, Felix Tangawarima and Gladys Waweru are overseeing the course that is scheduled to officially end on Friday, June 16, 2017.
