Kenyan international promoted to top Chinese League

Neijing Renhe gained promotion to top flight with two matches to spare after they won last duel against Tianshan Leopard

Kenyan international Ayub Timbe will play in the Chinese top division following promotion of Beijing Renhe to Chinese Super League.

Timbe will join Michael Olunga in the Chinese top league next season should the lanky Harambee Stars forward, who is on a season-long loan deal with Spanish side Girona FC, returns to his parent club Guizhou Zhicheng.

Renhe gained promotion to the top league with two matches remaining to the end of the season after they won their last one against Tianshan Leopard last weekend.

Timbe, who joined Renhe from Belgian side, Genk is, however, still recovering from an ankle injury that has kept him out of action for three weeks.
