Kenneth Omeruo sees red in Alanyaspor's defeat

Kenneth Omeruo was sent off as his Alanyaspor side fell to a 3-0 defeat to Kayserispor in Super Lig’s Saturday action.

The 23-year-old defender received a straight red card for using excessive force on Brazil’s Welliton in a game that handed them their 15th defeat of the season.

Coming into the encounter, the Super Eagles’ star who boasts of 23 appearances for Safet Sušić’s men this season had been cautioned seven times.

The defeat takes Alanyaspor to 14th on the log with 34 points from 29 games. They travel to Konyaspor for their next game on May 6.
