Keagan Dolly's Montpellier delayed as midfielder watches from the bench

The South Africa international will have to wait a little bit longer for his Montpellier debut despite being in the match day squad on Saturday

Bafana Bafana winger Keagan Dolly was on Saturday included in Montpellier's match day squad just a few days after making his dream move to Europe.

However, the 24-year-old was forced to watch from the bench as his new teammates beat Bastia 2-1 on the night.

Dolly's move to Montpellier came at the right time for the 2011/2012 French Ligue 1 champions as they are currently placed 16th on the log.

Their indifferent start to the current campaign has seen the club part ways with manager Frederic Hantz. Jean-Louis Gasset was appointed on an interim basis a few days before the Bastia match.

Montpellier now have Monaco lying in wait, in what will be a massive encounter on February 7.
