Nigeria's Olarenwaju Kayode who has been handed an invitation for the Super Eagles' friendly games this month, scored a goal for Austria Wien as they silenced Wolfsberg 3-0 at the Ernst Happel Stadion on Saturday.
The 23-year-old attacker who was called up for recovering Wolfsburg's forward Victor Osimhen sent a message to the Super Eagles boss as he records his ninth league goal in 17 appearances this season.
A Michael Sollbauer's own goal put the host ahead in the first half before Alexander Gruenwald doubled the lead in the 54th minute.
Kayode got the icing on the cake with nine minutes left of regular time, making it two goals in two consecutive games as Thorsten Fink's men took control of the game.
The former Nigeria youth international was later replaced by Kevin Friesenbichler in the 83rd minute.
The victory gives Austria Wien the chance to leap to the Champions League qualification spot with just two points behind second placed SCR Altach in the Austrian Bundesliga.
