Kano Pillars' Chinedu Udoji insists his side will overcome their difficult time in the Nigeria topflight when they resume their second round campaign.

Wrapping up their first stanza with a 3-1 defeat against Enugu Rangers, the former Enyimba player #admitted the Flying Antelopes truly deserved to win the encounter.

Sai Masu Gida side found themselves in the 12th position in the league table with 24 points but the defender believes they will witness a turnaround soon.

"Enugu Rangers were more ambitious seeing their poor position and playing at home was a big advantage for them," Udoji told Goal.

"Though we are both facing rough time but they played well and deserved to win the match. All the same we didn't play badly too.

“Every person or team will always experience difficult time at one moment or the other.

"In football, all teams have to pass through their tough moments in football. If it does not happen now, it will surely happen later which is one of those things.

"That's what we have been experiencing now and I know it is not permanent but temporary.

"I know very soon we are going to overcome every difficult time been through and I know everything will soon work out well for us. I must say we've been unlucky in our recent games."
