The 26-year-old dribbling wizard could find himself at the Chilli Boys in the new season if recent media reports are true

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Hendrick Ekstein is believed to be on the radar of Chippa United.

According to media reports, the Chilli Boys are keen to sign the Amakhosi attacking midfielder on loan ahead of the start of next season.

Ekstein has struggled for consistency in the last two seasons under the tutelage of Steve Komphela.

However, he is still very much in Komphela's plans for the current season with 14 appearances in all competitions under his belt this term.

Chippa United and Chiefs have a good working relationship, having exchanged players in the past, but it remains to be seen if Ekstein will be the latest player to move from Naturena to the Port Elizabeth-based club in the near future.

David Zulu is the last player to join the Chilli Boys from Amakhosi on a season-long deal after struggling for form at Naturena.

Amakhosi signed Edward Manqele and William Twala from Chippa, while their former player, Joseph Molangoane, joined the Soweto giants on a free transfer toward the end of last year.
