According to a source close to the player, the two Gauteng clubs have made inquiries about the availability of the 21-year-old, and Celtic could be tempted to sell when the winter transfer window opens in July this year.
However, the source revealed that there’s nothing concrete on the table as yet.
“There’s nothing concrete as yet, but Sundowns and Chiefs have really shown interest in the player,” the source told Goal.
“We’re aware that he’s still has a long to go, and we should be careful not to move him to a club where his progress would be halted, but this could really be a good opportunity for him, and if the offer is good, I’m sure Celtic will sell,” added the source.
Zuma has been a regular for Phunya Sele Sele this season, with 13 league appearances and one assist to his name.
Celtic signed Zuma from Kings United two-and-a-half years ago, and prior to making his debut for the first team, the utility player featured regularly for the club’s MultiChoice Diski Challenge (MDC).
