DR Congo’s Jires Kembo Ekoko joins Bursaspor

The 29-year-old has teamed up with the Green Crocodiles till 2019 after both sides agreed on a deal

DR Congo’s Jirès Kembo Ekoko has joined Bursaspor on loan from Al Nasr on a two-year contract.

Ekoko scored three goals in his 38 appearances for the Al-Maktoum Stadium giants as they ended the UAE Arabian Gulf League on the 6th position last season.

The attacker will link up with his African compatriots; Nigeria’s William Troost-Ekong, Mikel Agu, Paschal Okoli, Senegal’s Ricardo Faty and Ghana’s Emmanuel Badu.

The club announced the acquisition of the former France youth forward on the social media.

The striker will be expected to make his debut when Bursaspor lock horns with Besiktas in the Turkish Super Lig on August 26.
