Jesse Were on target in Zesco United win

Despite the win, Zesco United fans have continued their call for the sacking of coach Zlatko Krmpotic for the ‘poor’ performance this season

Kenyan International Jesse Were scored in Zesco United 3-0 win over Lusaka Dynamos in the Zambian Premier League.

Were scored Zesco United’s opening goal before he was substituted late in the second half by Lazarus Kambelo who scored Team ya Zega third to add to John Ching’andu’s second in the 63-minute.

Despite the win, Zesco United fans have continued their call for the sacking of coach Zlatko Krmpotic for the ‘poor’ performance this season.

Zlatko Krmpotic joined the former Zambian champions last February 2017, but he has failed to steer the team back to the top form with Zesco United now on the brink of going for yet another year without the title with only 11 games left to the end of the season.

Zesco United are currently third on the table, two points behind leaders, Zanaco who have 57 points.

Zesco United though have played two games less. Green Buffaloes are second on 56 points.
