K'Ogalo defender ready to prove his worth after joining the Green Army in January

Former Gunners Youth FC defender Karim Makbul is happy at Gor Mahia.

The youngster, who joined K'Ogalo in January, has confirmed that he has settled well at the new club and will do his bit in helping the club challenge for major honours this season.

"I’m quite happy at Gor Mahia. I’m aware of the increased competition for places in the Gor Mahia’s defense this season but this is what I expect of a big club and will take the challenge positively with determination and faith in God," he told Goal.

Gor Mahia hint at making changes on technical bench

The Mombasa-based Gunners Youth FC and Jericho All Stars were entangled in a transfer crisis  with both clubs demanding their  share of the transfer fees from the deal of the new signing who was  a possible replacement for defender Eric ’Marcelo’ Ouma.

The confusion ended after CEO Lordvick Omondi Aduda confirmed having signed the teenage prodigy on a four-year contract following successful negotiations with Gunners Youth who are registered members of Football Kenya Federation.
