Ingwe overcame a combined team in Embu on Saturday ahead of season kick-off

AFC Leopards beat Embu Combined FC 3-0 in a friendly match played on Saturday as from 3:00pm.

Ingwe arrived at the Embu camp on Thursday and took to the pitch against the combined team two days later dominating the match from the onset.

Former Mathare United midfielder Whyvvone Isuza opened the scoring in the 15th minute before another new face in Marcelas Ingotsi Adebayor grabbed a brace by the 38th minute mark. He scored his first goal in the 23rd minute then competed the brace 15 minutes later.

The club’s Ghanaian striker Gilbert Fiamenyo was introduced in the 67th minute making some beautiful attempts in the second-half but the hosts stayed alert to keep him and the entire Ingwe team at bay.

Next stop for the Big Cats is Tetu Stadium in Nyeri where they will play against Tetu Combined team on Sunday afternoon before returning to Nairobi.
