FC Goa have announced the signing of Spanish striker Adrian Colunga Perez ahead of the upcoming Indian Super League season.
The 2015 finalists have now completed their quota of foreigners with this recruitment being their eighth overseas one. They had already signed Bruno Pinheiro, Sergio Juste, Ahmed Jahouh, Edu Bedia, Manuel Arana, Manuel Lanzarote, and Ferran Corominas.
The 32-year-old Adrian Colunga has formerly represented the likes of Getafe, Las Palmas and Brighton & Hove Albion in England.
The Gaurs, coached by Spanish coach Sergio Lobera, wrapped up the deal for Adrian Colunga and Edu Bedia on Thursday, which marked the end of the Indian transfer window.
The Asturian is known to possess nimble feet and is a hard worker off the ball, qualities which will be highly valued by his new coach when the Indian Super League season gets underway on November 18th.
Colunga, who has over 14 years of experience in Europe's top divisions, is expected to compete for the striker's spot with Ferran Corominas.
