The China section of the International Champions Cup has provided us with some eye-catching results with AC Milan's 4-0 weekend win over Bayern Munich one of the most unexpected scorelines of the summer so far. The Rossoneri's cross-city rivals are also in action in the Far East, with Inter facing Lyon in Nanjing.
The Serie A side have not strengthened as much in the summer market as fans would have hoped but are still favourites against the team that finished fourth in Ligue 1 last season, with dabbletbet pricing a victory for Inter at 13/10 (2.30).
This will be the fourth match of pre-season for both sides and both groups of players should be in better shape than they were at the start of the month. Giving the games already under their respective belts, we should expect the tempo to be not quite as slow as we have seen in other matches in this pre-season competition.
Both teams to score is priced at 4/9 (1.44) but more appealing is the price of 11/10 (2.10) for both teams to score and either to win. This should be a pretty competitive game between two sides of roughly similar standing despite Lyon losing Alexandre Lacazette to Arsenal, and both teams have scored in every game they have played so far in pre-season.
This bet seems to offer the best overall value, although there could be some interest in backing both teams to score in the first half at 23/10 (3.30) while a high-scoring game and over 3.5 goals is offered at 5/4 (2.20).
Indeed, two of the three matches in the International Champions Cup played in China have seen four goals and there could well be another high-scoring game, when two evenly matched sides meet in Nanjing.
