The Eleven is to One suffered their fourth defeat of the season, with manager Owusu holding centre man responsible

Inter Allies coach Prince Owusu claims that officiating was terrible on Sunday when his charges suffered a 1-0 defeat to Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League matchday eleven.

The Tema-based club has had a poor start to the season, sitting one place above the relegation zone with 11 points.

“We outplayed Bechem in every department of the game, we did really well but for no reason the referee decided the game on his own,” Owusu said.

“And you could see how the fans who came to watch the match reacted to the performance of the referee. It's been allowed by whoever is controlling football in Ghana, they allow the referees to do whatever they want. They should keep it up but I don’t care what they say, the referee let us down.

“If a referee is handling a game this way, how can you play to win? The fourth referee has his agenda because I saw some things during the match which were not pleasant and when I confronted him to report it, he did nothing. They had a mission and the mission was accomplished, so they should keep it up but they should know that they are killing the premier league clubs,” he added.

Allies will welcome relegation-threatened Ashanti Gold to the El Wak Park in matchday 12 by the weekend.
