Indonesia U22 began the first day of their centralised training camp for the SEA Games on Monday with two players missing, but head coach Luis Milla Aspas is not too concerned.

Out of the 25-man preliminary squad called up by the Spaniard, Arema FC's Bagas Adi and Jong Ajax's Ezra Walian were the only absentees from the first day of camp held in Tangerang, according to Goal Indonesia.

According to another Indonesian publication Kompas, Bagas is undergoing treatment for an injury, while the Dutch-born Ezra is currently undergoing a trial with English side West Ham.

"We will wait for Bagas until the last minute because he is an important player, I hope they (both) will be available this week. That is enough time to observe their abilities," Kompas quoted him.

The former Barcelona and Real Madrid midfielder also said that their disappointment in the U23 AFC Championship qualifiers is all but forgotten.

In the qualifiers that was held in Bangkok last month, Milla's boys only managed to finish third in Group H, ahead of bottom-placed Mongolia. Unfancied group winners Malaysia and second-placed hosts Thailand were through to the finals which will be held next year.

"After the qualification I am very pleased to see that the boys have returned to the team with good attitude and in good spirits, and after the qualifiers they can (hopefully) learn from what happened," Goal Indonesia quoted Milla as saying after leading his team in practice.

At the 2017 Kuala Lumpur SEA Games which will kick off on August 14, Indonesia have been drawn in Group B alongside Vietnam, Cambodia, Timor-Leste, the Philippines and defending champions Thailand.
