Indian Super League: FC Goa rope in Manuel Lanzarote

FC Goa are set to announce their sixth foreign signing after having managed to sign Manuel Lanzarote, Goal can confirm.

The left winger, who can also play in the number 10 role, was pursued by at least another three Indian Super League (ISL) franchises before opting to join FC Goa for the upcoming season.

Lanzarote has played for as many as 11 clubs in his career after having represented Barcelona C and B teams as a young professional.

He has primarily featured in the Spanish second division although he did have a two-year stint in the La Liga wherein he made 17 appearances and scored one goal.

The club have already signed Bruno Pinheiro, Chechi, Manuel Arana, Ahmed Jahouh and Coro.  

The club will also undergo their pre-season in Spain this time around.
