Indian Football: Federation Cup to be held in Cuttack from May 7

The AIFF executive committee have decided to continue with the Federation Cup this year too...

The Federation Cup is all set to happen this year with Cuttack in Odisha the chosen venue. 

The knock-out tournament is set to include the top eight teams of the ongoing I-League and is scheduled to start from May 7 with the showpiece final to be held on May 21, 2017.

Hero will continue to be the title sponsor of the competition that began in 1977. 

Mohun Bagan were the winners of the tournament last time around and are also incidentally the most successful team ever with a total of 14 wins.
