The Tottenham right-back has spoken in glowing terms about his former team-mate, choosing the Real Madrid midfielder in his dream squad

Kyle Walker says that former team-make Luka Modric was a "magician" when the two played together at Tottenham.

The Spurs right-back selected the Croatian in his dream five-a-side team of Premier League team-mates.

"He was a magician," the England international told the official Premier League website of the Real Madrid star, whom he played with at Spurs between 2009 and 2012.

Walker continued, saying Modric was, "One of the best, if not the best player I've ever had the chance to play or train with.

"I'm lost for words that's how good he was."

Alongside Modric, Walker also selected Hugo Lloris in goal, Ledley King, Gareth Bale and Harry Kane in his dream squad.

"He was superhuman," Walker said of Bale, who, like Modric, also eventually left Tottenham for Real Madrid.
