The Super Eagles forward is pleased with his side’s victory over the Eagles on Saturday

Kelechi Iheanacho expressed his delight in Manchester City’s 5-0 thrashing of Crystal Palace in Sunday's English Premier League encounter.

Pep Guardiola’s men turned the party at the Etihad Stadium two minutes into the game courtesy of a David Silva’s strike followed by Vincent Kompany, Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Otamendi’s second half goals.

Iheanacho was introduced as a second half substitute for Gabriel Jesus in the 84th minute but was unable to boost his goals tally from four in 19 league games.

In reaction to the emphatic win, the Nigeria international took to social media to praise the team’s effort and stated that their focus is shifted on the next game against Leicester City.

"Team on fire today. 3 points, goals flying from all angles. Our focus on the next game #godisthegreatest #MCFC," Iheanacho wrote on Instagram.
