Ighalo nets brace as Changchun Yatai continue unbeaten run

 Odion Ighalo dazzled with a brace as Changchun Yatai cruised past Guangzhou R&F with a 3-2 victory in a Chinese Super League fixture.

The Super Eagles forward scored the leveler for the Development Area Stadium outfit in the 55th minute after Chugui Ye had put the Dragan Stojković’s men ahead in the first half.

Substitute Zhenyu Du gave Yatai the lead in the 79th but was short lived by Xiao Zhi’s equaliser five minutes later.

With just a minute left in the regular time, Ighalo who was cautioned in the 59th minute stood out for his Chinese side with a match winning goal that sealed his sixth league goal in 15 games.

Changchun Yatai who are yet to lose a game in their last five league games, are placed 10th in the Chinese topflight league with 19 points from 16 games and will visit Shandong Luneng for their next game on July 22.
