Godwin Obaje believes Ifeanyi Ubah will not miss him when they face MFM in a Nigerian league tie at the Agege Stadium on Wednesday
The Anambra Warriors will be without their talisman, who chopped an injury after netting his third goal of the season in 2-0 win over Kwara United in Nnewi on Sunday.
Though sit high in the fourth position on the log, the Nnewi based side have lost in their previous two occasions to Agege and they will be hoping to make a difference this term.
And the 2015/2016 league topscorer, who is unhappy to miss out, is confident his side can secure a win against Fidelis Ilechukwu's men that lost 3-1 to El Kanemi Warriors.
"Firstly, I am disappointed to have been ruled out due to an injury. I couldn't travel with them," Obaje told Goal.
"Though injury is part of the game, I would have loved to play and help my team win in Lagos. I know MFM are a very ambition team but we have all it takes to surprise them.
"It will be a tough match no doubt, but I believe the quality of players we have and the good coaching will see us come out victorious at the Agege Stadium.
"I have no worries at all. I'm getting better now and hope to be back fully fit in coming days to help my team."
The 20-year-old has scored three times in three league games so far for Ladan Bosso's men this season.
