Mumbai FC fans have called for Santosh Kashyap to be sacked with immediate effect given that they have been winless in the last nine I-League matches.
On Sunday evening, Mumbai FC fans hurled several abuses from the stands at Santosh Kashyap, who was in the dugout for the Yellow and Blues.
It is believed that the players do not share a good camaraderie with the coach and as a result, their performances have dipped after picking two victories from the first two matches of the I-League season.
Fans held a banner which stated, “Santosh Out,” and another which depicted his face on the body of a snake.
It will be interesting to see whether Mumbai FC’s management eventually opt to sack the former Air India coach given the growing discontent and poor run of results.
Their next game is against Aizawl FC where Khalid Jamil is having a brilliant season.
