Manchester United are back in the International Champions Cup this year with three massive matches.

The reigning Europa League champions rejoin the tournament that has been held every preseason for four years. The competition is split into three different groups this time, featuring matches in the USA, China and Asia.

Involving Europe’s biggest clubs, the ICC was originally held exclusively in USA for the first two years, before branching out to include Australia, who this year have been replaced by Singapore.

With fans across the world gearing up for the new season, the ICC is taking the world’s biggest teams to three different countries and some huge stadia.

It kicked off on July 18 and will finish on July 30, giving those involved a chance to prepare for the new season by matching off against some of those they will likely face in major European competition in the campaign to come.

MAN UTD'S PLAYERS TO WATCH

Ander Herrera Paul Pogba Manchester United

That Paul Pogba would face criticism in his first season back at Old Trafford was inevitable once his world-record transfer fee was confirmed. But the France international largely performed admirably after sealing a return from Juventus, leading his team’s midfield as they claimed the League Cup and secured a UEFA Champions League return by winning the club's first ever Europa League title.

All eyes will be back on Pogba this summer as Mourinho looks to build on his successful start in charge. Young striker Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera, a star last campaign, will also be under the spotlight as their team continue preparations for the forthcoming campaign against some of Europe’s best.

MAN UTD'S TRANSFER WINDOW SO FAR

Romelu Lukaku Ashley Cole Manchester United LA Galaxy

Romelu Lukaku has arrived from Everton in one of the biggest moves of the summer.

The Belgium international hit 25 Premier League goals last term and fans are excited to see him link up with close friend Pogba.

Sweden international Victor Lindelof has been brought in from Benfica in another major deal and Mourinho will be hoping the 22-year-old will slot in alongside Eric Bailly for what could be the club’s central-defensive partnership for the best part of the next decade.
