Highlanders respond to Moyo's proposed move to Orlando Pirates

The full-back will not be joining the Buccaneers according to the Zimbabwean giants

Highlanders FC have dismissed reports linking their defender Honest Moyo with Orlando Pirates.

The 25-year-old left-back has been linked with the Buccaneers since the current July-August Transfer Window opened.

The Zimbabwean Premier Soccer League (ZPSL) outfit have since issued a statement on their official Facebook page refuting the reports.

A club statement read: "UPDATE ON HONEST MOYO

"Honest Moyo has not signed any contract with Orlando Pirates as rumoured by the national broadcaster; ZBC and perpetuated by other social media pages that have nothing to do with Bosso.

"Honest remains a Bosso player."

Moyo helped Zimbabwe clinch the recent 2017 Cosafa Cup in North West Province, South Africa earlier this month.
