Ghana FA Cup semi-finals draw was held at the M. Plaza Hotel in Accra on Tuesday with giants Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak missing each other and may set up a thrilling final.

Len Clay Sports Stadium in Obuasi has been chosen by the organising committee as the venue for the two games on October 1, with the Porcupine Warriors set to face Medeama in a repeat of the 2015 final, where the latter emerged as winners, while Hearts engage Wa All Stars for the first time at this stage of the competition.

The final has been scheduled to take place at the Tamale Sports Stadium on October 29, which could offer the three northern regions the opportunity to witness their first Super Clash if Kotoko and Hearts progress.

According to the FA Cup committee, the winner of this season's edition will receive $11,630 prize money and additional $23,255 to prepare for the Caf Confederations Cup next season while runners-up takes home $3,500.
