The Phobians manager is delighted with his charges after the victory over their city rivals and plans Tema Youth downfall on Wednesday

Hearts of Oak coach Frank Elliott Nuttall has showered praise on his players after their 2-1 victory over Great Olympics in the Mantse derby on Sunday.

The Phobians took the lead through Paul Acquah before Benjamin Arthur equalised for Olympics but defender Inusah Musah scored the match-winner for Hearts later in the game.

“It was a very difficult game against Olympics. My team played very well and I am impressed because they fought very hard to get the win,” Nuttall said.

“Even when it was 1-1, we pushed forward to get another goal and we eventually got the goal. It was a good performance from my team and I am delighted with that," he added.

Hearts will face rivals Asante Kotoko in the Super Clash next weekend in Accra but Nuttall insists he is rather focused on their mid-week game against Tema Youth on Wednesday.

"I am focused on the game against Tema Youth not the one against Kotoko which is on Sunday. The Tema Youth game is coming on this Wednesday and we need to take maximum points from them to prepare us for the next match.

“I am taking one game after the other because each game has three points at stake no matter the opponent. I will think about strategies and tactics against Kotoko when the time is right," he said.

Hearts are sixth on the log with nine points, seven points behind leaders Aduana Stars.
