The Black Star scored at the death to win a point for Kayserispor in Monday's league clash with Fenerbahce

There was a first goal for Ghana's Asamoah Gyan in the Turkish Super League as Kayserispor held giants Fenerbahce to a 3-3 draw on Monday.

The 31-year-old emerged the hero for Kayserispor as his goal in the fifth minute of injury time earned the side a point in the encounter at Istanbul.

The strike comes four days after netting in the 2-1 triumph over Yesil Bursa in the Turkish Cup.

In Monday's fixture, veteran striker Umut Bulut was the first to get on the scoresheet, putting Kayserispor in the lead four minutes to recess.

Ozan Tufan, however, drew Fenerbahce level on the stroke of half-time before Roman Neustadter and Josef de Souza made it 3-1 for the Yellow Canaries.

On 68 minutes, Kayserispor reduced the deficit through Luis Neto's own goal but the strike looked like being inadequate to save the Anatolian Star from defeat until Gyan struck in the fifth minute of added-on time.

The Ghana captain was at the right place at the right time as he headed home the equalizer from close range to share the spoils.

Kayserispor, by the result, sit fourth on the table while Fenerbahce sit four places below.
