Sanya Senior Grammar School 0-0 (3-5) Government Senior College

Government Senior College progressed to the final of the GTBank Principals Cup after handing a 5-3 defeat on penalties to Sanya Senior Grammar School.

Both sides failed to find the back of the net during the game and the game had to be decided from the penalty spot.

Government Senior College's goalkeeper, Esther Ogbe was the hero of the shootouts after she saved one of Sanya's four kick to propel his side to the final of the school competition.

 

Ikorodu Senior High School 1-2 Isale Eko Grammar School

Isale Eko Grammar School produced an upset to see off Ikorodu Senior High School 2-1 as they book a spot in the final of the GTBank Principals Cup.

Isale Eko were pegged back very early in the game after Motunrayo Muhammed got the curtain raiser in the eighth minute.

Ikorodu went into the break with a 1-0 lead but they were levelled immediately after the restart as Aminat Sarumi slotted a goal in for the Lagos Island side.

10-year-old midfielder Aliyat Saheed got the game's decider after she pounced on a long pass, dribbling her way past the onrushing goalkeeper to slot into an empty net.

They will now face Government Senior College in the final of the GTBank Principals Cup.

 

Boys

Ijaiye Housing Estate Senior Grammar School 2-0 Odogunyan Senior Grammar School

Ijaiye Housing Estate Senior Grammar School booked their place in the final of the GTBank Principals Cup after defeating Odogunyan Senior Grammar School 2-0.

Daniel Adekoya got the opener for Ojokoro outfit in the 11th minute. Despite their dominance, they were unable to add more to their tally before the break.

13 minutes before full-time Darlington Okolie made Ijaiye Housing Estate Senior Grammar School's place in the final of the school competition safe after he converted into an empty following a glorious solo run.

 

Muslim Senior College 0-0 (3-4) Ikotun Senior High School

Ikotun Senior High School defeated Muslim Senior College 4-3 on penalties to secure a spot in the GTBank Principals Cup final.

After both sides played an uneventful game in regulation time and the game had to be decided on penalties.

Muslim Senior lost two of their spot kicks and succumbed to a 4-3 loss to the Ikotun outfit.

They will now face Ijaiye Housing Estate Senior Grammar School in the final of the school competition.
