Zetech University FC beat Tandaza FC 7-2 in post match penalties to win round of 64 match of GOtv Shield on Saturday at Camp Toyoyo.

Camp Toyoyo fans were entertained by the early kick-off of University derby, which saw Tandaza FC defender Brian Oriedi sent-off by referee Badin Yasin after a bad tackle on Zetech forward Augustus Mukaisi. Striker Walter Orango of Tandaza FC was on target scoring past Zetech FC custodian Billy Momanyi after a good combination by Haron Omar in the last added minute to the break.

Zetech University emerged strong in the second half and capitalized on the blunders made by Tandaza defense to equalize through Augustus Mukaisi and it did not last long before Nahashon Thiongo headed home the second goal in the 65th minute. Tandaza FC forward Joseph Oketch equalized for his team making things level in the 76th minute.

Both side showed determination to score but time was bad and center referee Badin Yasin called for penalties. Zetech University goalkeeper Billy Momanyi was the man of the match after he saved three from Malvin Ngala, Edwin Kolongo and Walter Orango while James Mwangi, Cleophas Makori and Edwin Njoroge converted theirs.

On the other side, Zetech University players; Augustus Mukaisi, Kelvin Oduor, Derric Ambundo, Isaac Njau, Haron Omar and goalkeeper Billy Omar successful converted theirs while George Odari, Duncan Owiti, Nahashon Thiongo missed from the spot.
