New signing Bernard Mang'oli was on target as Sofapaka hammered Silver Bullets 9-1 in a GOtv Shield clash on Sunday.

Batoto ba Mungu were a class above the Division One side with Umar Kasumba grabbing four goals at Machakos Stadium. Hansel Ochieng, Rogers Aloro, Feni Ali, Bernard Mang'oli and Meshack Karani scored the other goals for the winners while Gabriel Wandera pulled a consolation for Bullets.

Mang'oli, who was unveiled last week by the 2009 league champions after ditching AFC Leopards, was handed a starting role by Ugandan coach Sam Ssimbwa while Meshack Karani started from the bench as well as captain George Maelo, with Hillary Echesa taking the arm band.
