Gor Mahia v AFC Leopards: Super Cup match to be beamed live

The season opener pitting rivals Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards will be aired live on Sunday.

Kenyan Premier League CEO Jack Oguda has confirmed to Goal that local television channel KTN will have the rights for the Super Cup match set for Afraha Stadium in Nakuru.

“KTN have confirmed in writing that they will air the match live from Nakuru. It was an open bid and they have sealed the same.”

The local league giants will square it out in the curtain raiser ahead of the KPL season kick-off date on February 3. Both Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards will also represent the country in Caf matches this season.

The Kenyan champions will host Leones Vegetarianos between February 9 and 11, for the first leg before traveling to Equatorial Guinea while AFC Leopards will be up against Fosa Juniors of Madagascar in Caf Confederation Cup.
