The match that has twice been postponed, will curtain raise for the Kenyan Premier League set to kick-off next Saturday (March 11). KPL CEO Jack Oguda has revealed to Goal that the DStv Super Cup clash will be staged in Nakuru.
“Gor Mahia and Tusker will clash on Sunday a week before the league kicks-off. We are also working on the fixtures and they should be ready by today (Friday). We know we have lost much time but will do our best to catch up.”
On Thursday, Oguda revealed to Goal that the local league will start with 16 teams as they await the Sports Tribunal ruling on a case filed by Muhoroni Youth and Sofapaka. “We will have a 16-team league but this will change as soon as the ruling from the Tribunal is released.”
