Everything you need to know ahead of the Kenyan Premier League clash at Kisumu Stadium on Saturday

Gor Mahia are traveling to host Zoo Kericho in their second match of the league and they are simply out to record another win after they overcame Kariobangi Sharks last weekend.

This is a season, they have marked for all silverwares and Coach Ze Maria is aware that the club’s fans are not ready for anything short of victory.

On the other hand, Zoo Kericho were defeated during their league debut and their heads are raised for any chance of bouncing back.

GOR MAHIA INJURIES

One week is enough preparation time for K’Ogalo and it is beyond doubt that they are ready to take on the KPL newbies.

However, the absence of Rwandan international midfielder Jean-Baptiste Mugiraneza, who picked a knock on his knee during training ahead of the match, must be a concern at the Green Army. He is a player, who announced his arrival in the Kenyan Premier League with a goal against Kariobangi Sharks and more goals were expected from him if he made it to Kisumu.

GOR MAHIA SUSPENSIONS

Neither Gor Mahia nor Zoo Kericho have any suspensions.

GOR MAHIA POTENTIAL STARTING LINE-UP

Coach Ze Maria will not make many changes to the squad which beat Kariobangi Sharks. It is aready evident from his traveling list with keeper Shaban Odhoji and midfielder Collins ‘Gattuso’ Okoth being the only new inclusions. Probably, the latter will take Mugiraneza’s position while Odhoji will obviously be on the bench, where Peter Odhiambo was last weekend.

Timothy Otieno and Jacques Tuysenge will start upfront but Meddie Kagere can also start with them if Ze Maria decides to field a three-pronged attack.

Gor Mahia v Zoo probable line-up.

ZOO KERICHO TEAM NEWS

Misikhu Vincent will be between the sticks as Madoya Michael stirs up the attacking midfield.
