K'Ogalo ended their win-less streak by edging out Wazito FC on Saturday

Gor Mahia beat National Super League side Wazito FC 2-1 in a friendly match played at Camp Toyoyo ground on Saturday.

K’Ogalo had lost all their previous pre-season friendly matches and a section of fans had already started questioning the performance especially after falling to lower league side Administration Police in their recent match.

A day when two build-up encounters were line-up, head coach Ze Maria opted to start with his second team against Wazito FC and results never disappointed either. Anthony Mbugua and new signing Oliver Maloba scored one goal apiece to register the long awaited victory in the first match of the day.

The second match is against FIN Academy where Gor Mahia’s first choice players are featuring.
