Former Kenya international defender Tobias 'Jua Kali' Ocholla is together with Mathare United coach Salim Ali in mourning

Gor Mahia legend Tobias Ocholla has sent his heartfelt condolence message to Mathare United assistant coach Salim Ali, who lost his elder brother Abdul Kanji on Saturday.

Abdul succumbed to fever on his way to hospital on Saturday and was laid to rest on Sunday at his Kariokor home.

Ocholla has received the news with shock and prays for peace and strength for the family of the Mathare United tactician at this difficult time.

"I’m shocked to learn that Abdul Kanji, elder brother to Mathare United assistant coach Salim Ali is no more. I’m hereby expressing my sincere condolences to the coach for the untimely demise of a brother. May his soul rest in peace," he told Goal.

Salim took charge of Mathare United for four matches in April while head coach Francis Kimanzi was serving his touchline suspension.
