Gor Mahia keeper set to make history with the club

Keeper Boniface Oluoch will write history if he features in Saturday’s Caf Champions League match at Machakos Stadium

Gor Mahia keeper Boniface Oluoch will make history with the club if he features in Saturday’s Caf Champions League match.

Oluoch will make his 100 appearance for the Kenyan champions should coach Dylan Kerr prefers him to start in the first leg match against Equatorial Guinea side Leones Vegetarianos at Machakos Stadium.

Meanwhile, Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier has confirmed that tickets for the match will now be sold from Friday and not during match day.

“The tickets will most likely go on sale from Friday in Nairobi and all the way to Saturday - both in Nairobi and points to be communicated around Machakos.

"This is to reduce the last minute rush and to play along with the regulations put in place by Caf - to stop tickets sales an hour before kick-off and owing to their capacity, Wells Fargo will be the distributors.”

Gor Mahia will be seeking to get a convincing result as they strive to do better in the competition this year.
