Gor Mahia coach bemoans poor officiating against Tusker

K'Ogalo reveals that they deserved to win against the brewers' but poor officiating played a huge role in Sunday's match

Well, it is not only Thika United coach James Nandwa, who complained of poor officiating in the 2-1 defeat to AFC Leopards; Gor Mahia coach Ze Maria feels the same way.

The former champions played current champions Tusker but neither side scored as the match ended in a stalemate. The Brazilian feels it could have been different though for his team if officiating could have been 'fair'.

Thika United blame referee for AFC Leopards defeat

"I was not impressed with the referee, he was lenient with them (Tusker), but cautioned my players anytime their was contact. Even fifty fifty challenges did not go our way, it affected the game but we want to focus on our coming assignment. We are not happy with a point though."

Gor Mahia plays Bandari next at Mbaraki Stadium, Mombasa.
