Defender Musa Mohammed has been elevated to be K'Ogalo's captain following Jerim Onyango's retirement

Gor Mahia have appointed a new skipper in defender Musa Mohammed.

Musa was the club’s assistant captain until his appointment seeing him take reigns from goalkeeper Fredrick Onyango, who announced his retirement from active football at the start of January.

Rwandese striker Jacques Tuysienge has also been appointed the assistant skipper, as was announced on Friday at an event where the club’s new signings were being unveiled.

Organizing Secretary Judith ‘Nyangi’ Anyango has also confirmed the development to Goal registering full confidence in the leadership. “Yes, Musa Mohammed is the captain and Jacques Tuyisenge is his assistant.”

Gor Mahia lost 2-1 to Thika United in a friendly match played on Saturday at Camp Toyoyo ground.
