Gor Mahia announce gate collections from Zoo match

Gor Mahia have finally released details of gate collections from their Saturday match against Zoo Kericho.

Secretary General Ben Omondi has told Goal that Sh604, 000 is the amount of revenues collected from the match. He says that having concluded calculations, the club’s treasurer Sally Bolo presented the figures which have been confirmed by the secretariat as the genuine outcome of the day’s ticket sales.

“Gate charges for our match against Zoo FC on Saturday, March 18, yielded Sh604,000 as revenue.”

A total of 10,000 tickets were printed but only 2,420 were sold, 300 being for VIPs. One VIP ticket was sold at Sh600 while a place at the terraces was charged Sh200.

Here are the figures as compiled by Sally Bolo.

Number of tickets printed: (a) Main Stand 2,500, (b) Terraces 7,500.

The number of tickets returned: (c) Main stand 2,200, (d) Terraces 5,380.

Tickets sold: (e) Main Stand; 300 x 600 = Sh180, 000, (f) Terraces; 2,120 x 200 = Sh424, 000.

Total revenue collected: Sh604, 000.
