The Savannah Scorpions goalkeeper has expressed disappointment over the poor goal he conceded against Ikon Allah in Lokoja on Sunday

Gombe United’s Emmanuel Fabiyi is unhappy over the goal that saw his side fall 1-0 defeat against Niger Tornadoes at the Lokoja Confluence Stadium.

With only three minutes into the match, Ifeanyi Okoye’s well struck free kick beat Manu Garba’s defenders ghosting past the visitor’s goalkeeper to hand the hosts a narrow win.

"I feel very bad because that kind of goal we conceded was too cheap,” Fabiyi told Goal.

“We were not in the game before the goal was scored though we still picked up in the second half but the referee didn’t allow us play.''

Despite failing to stop the goal from the free kick, he felt the profligacy of his side's forwards in front of goal cost them.
