AFC Leopards’ Ghanaian striker Gilbert Fiamenyo has for the first time spoken about his new chapter at the Den.
The former Ebusua Dwarfs player was signed by Ingwe under Coach Ivan Minnaert in August 2016 but his contract was not effected having penned the deal outside transfer window period. He had to wait for six months and arrived in Kenya two weeks ago ahead of AFC Leopards’ pre-season preparations.
Speaking from Embu, where the club has pitched camp for a friendly match set for Saturday, the former Hearts of Oak striker confirmed his comfort at Ingwe promising to guide the team in line with its 2017 objectives.
“I’m fine with everybody and everything is normal here. I’m here because I want to start from somewhere so that I can move forward; so I think the club is good for me to showcase my skill. I have an individual target in terms of goals but the main thing is to help the team attain its aim," he told Goal.
Fiamenyo has also featured for both the junior and senior Ghana national teams.
