Ghanaian starlet Ayiah rubbishes Porto reports

The Ghana U-17 captain has denied reports that he has joined the Portuguese side

Ghanaian prodigy Eric Ayiah says rumours that he has signed a deal with Portuguese giants FC Porto are false.

The 17-year-old rose to prominence following his impressive showing at the recent Africa Under-17 Cup of Nations where he emerged Best Player of the tournament.

The Charity FC frontman netted four times to steer the Black Starlets to the final where they lost to Mali.

"My manager and I have seen stories on the internet like this which claim I have signed for FC Porto," Ayiah said via his official Facebook page.

"This is not true and I want all and sundry to disregard any story as such."

Captain of the side, Ayiah is expected to lead Ghana at the Fifa Under-17 World Cup in India in October.
